Guardamar del Segura Guardamar (del Segura) is a seaside destination in the south of the Costa Blanca. Guardamar's trademarks are long, sandy beaches and lush greenery (dunes / parks). But the town is mostly known for its forest area. The "Pinada" is a forest area with an surface of 800 hectares. It stretches on former hiking dikes which were fortified by cultivating various species of plants such as mainly pine, palm trees, cypresses and eucalyptus trees. The planting took 30 years and since 1930, the Pinada shows itself in its present form in the immediate vicinity of the sea. Today the Pinada is divided into two parks, one of which is a park named Alfonso XII and the other is called "Queen Sofia". The parks stretch between the city center and the beaches of Babilonia and Los Viveros. A truly great destination to own a holiday home!
